Alpha Xi Delta was founded on April 17, 1893, at Lombard College in Galesburg, Illinois. Its colors are light blue, dark blue, and gold, and its flower is the pink Killarney rose.
The Alpha Phi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta was founded at Penn on September 3, 1927, and existed until 1966.
