Summary

Football team, 1884

From this year onward, the scoring system was revised to change how points were assigned: a goal from a touchdown was now worth six points, a goal from field was worth five, a touchdown was worth four, and a safety was worth two points. This team had no coach; students alone were responsible for the existence of the team and for all fundraising, scheduling, training and strategies on the field.
