BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

LeRoy Smith, Jr. received a B.S. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 1934. He was employed as an Instructor in English in the College while continuing his graduate studies. In 1943 his association with the University of Pennsylvania ended culminating with a Masters of Arts Degree.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

Academic and religious poems of LeRoy Smith, Jr. from his college days throughout the remainder of his life.
