BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
George A. Munger was a coach and educator at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his B.S. from Penn in 1933. Munger remained at the University serving as a football coach from 1938-1953, and then as a member of the faculty of physical education and recreation from 1953-1973. The University awarded him an honorary LL.D. in 1985.
