BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

George Oliver Everett was born in Worthington, MA on July 10, 1896. He attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School where he graduated in 1921 with a B.S. in Economics. After graduation Mr. Everett worked as a free lance writer in New York City; Batton, Barton Durstine and Osborne; First Banck and Trust Co. in Utica, NY; Sampson United Corp.; and Burroughs Corp. He died on May 29, 1980 in Rochester, NY.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The George Oliver Everett Scrapbook contains photographs, clippings, and memorabilia from Everett’s time as a student at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as events after his graduation. In addition, there is a photograph from the 1971.
